Welcome to Add A Little Thread!

I’m a stay at home Mummy to Rocco (3yrs) & Rosie (1yr). After moving out of London in Lockdown 2020 we have made our new home in West Berkshire where all my orders are made, packaged and sent by me from my little embroidery room. Having always had a love for sewing and making things, my Mum generously gifted me my first embroidery machine and after the first try I was hooked! I quickly learnt that a lot of practice was required to get the best out of my machine - it’s taken nearly two years to learn which materials and resources to use to get the best results. After embroidering many things for my own children, I decided to start my own little embroidery business and at the end of 2021 'Add A Little Thread' was born. Shortly after launching, I decided to purchase a much larger embroidery machine to keep up with orders - best decision ever! Running a small business whilst having two small children at home is not always easy… I couldn’t do it without the support of my wonderful husband, Will and lots of help from my absolute superstar Mum. Not forgetting my incredible friends and family and their kind orders in the very early days of Add A Little Thread - Thank you for all your continued support I feel so incredibly lucky to be doing something I LOVE. I really am so grateful for each and every order - me and the kids really do, do a happy dance every time my phone buzzes with an order. THANK YOU!
